What is a Telex Release?

A Telex Release is a process where the carrier authorizes the release of cargo to the consignee at the destination port without requiring the original Bill of Lading. This is done after the shipper surrenders the original documents at the origin, speeding up delivery and eliminating the need for physical paperwork.
